Egan-Guffey Wedding

The couple hired me to create a printed suite for their wedding reception. Taking design elements from their invitations, done by another designer, I wanted the paper goods to feel cohesive, festive, and artistic.

Drawing inspiration from one of the couple’s favorite restaurants, The Carlyle Hotel’s Bemelmans Bar, I came up with the narrative of an artist who, after enjoying dinner, listens to the pianist play uses the menu as an impromptu sketchpad.
